Fish McGill: Artist, designer, expert. Get an inside scoop on the company that created "Rock Band" from Harmonix-er Fish McGill, as well as his own personal unique artistic process and the inspiration behind it. You've seen his work at rockband.com, Johnny Cupcake tees, MassArt, and in Rock Band 2, now meet him and learn how he goes from initial sketch to final piece. So grab your sketchbook, pick out your favorite song and join us for what will be an inspirational (and rockin'!) night. And if you haven't seen Fish's work, check out his website for a peak into his head: www.fishmcgill.com

We
will
be
giving

the platform of the
winner's choice.
We will also be giving away a Harmonix Swag Pack.

Contracts and Licensing with Lisa Shaftel

Part 1: Contracts
What are contracts and why do you need them? What should you make sure to put into your next contract? We'll be learning about these important documents with the Graphic Artists Guild's Advocacy Chairperson, Lisa Shaftel (she led our Copyright and Infringement workshop a few months back) and how to create a proper agreement without a lawyer and with one hand behind your back.
Part 2: What is Licensing?
Licensing is big business, presenting tremendous opportunities for graphic artists of all disciplines to generate revenue in new markets. However, far too many artists don't recognize that licensing can be a hugely profitable segment of their business. Get the information you need to get started!
