There are all sorts of opportunities to help out with the running of the local Boston Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild and our events. You can gain valuable knowledge about being a successful designer and illustrator through meeting and working with others and learning through word of mouth what you could never learn in a classroom or book. You would also be supporting the organization in the US that more than any other organization does the essential work to insure that artists' rights will legally be protected allowing people to make a living off of being an artist.
